My full-time work is that of being a tribal church planting missionary in Papua New Guinea. Part of that role involves learning an unwritten tribal language and handling all the language data we're swamped with.

Thinking up better ways to store, process, and retrieve our language data is what launched me into creating things with Python in the first place
